Privacy notice
This notice explains what Beyond The Beard Ltd (“I”, Jamie Fisher) does with the information you give through this website. The short version: I use it to reply to you and to send what you asked for. Nobody else gets it.
Who is responsible
Beyond The Beard Ltd, registered in England and Wales, company number 17267627, registered office Tamworth Enterprise Centre, Corporation Street, Tamworth, B79 7DN. Contact: jamie@beyondthebeard.co.uk.
Beyond The Beard Ltd is registered with the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO) as a data controller, registration number ZC247026.
What I collect
- The Growth Score: your answers, your name, work email, company, phone number if you give it, turnover band, plus the business type and problem you chose.
- Booking a call: your name, work email, company, phone number if you give it, plus what you tell me about the business.
- How you found the site: the page you arrived on, the site that referred you and any campaign tags in the link.
- Analytics: only if you say yes to cookies, how the site is used (pages visited, roughly where from, device type) through Google Analytics. It doesn't tell me who you are.
What I use it for and why
- To send your Growth Score report and reply to your enquiry (to take the steps you asked for).
- To send up to three short follow-up notes on your weakest stages, only if you ticked the box asking for them. Every note has a link to stop the rest (your consent, which you can withdraw at any time).
- To understand which pages and campaigns are useful (consent, for analytics cookies).
I don't sell or share your information. I don't add you to any other list either.
Who processes it for me
- Vercel, which hosts the website.
- Resend, which sends the emails.
- Google Workspace, where my email lives.
- Cal.com, which handles call bookings.
- Google Analytics, which measures how the site is used (only if you say yes to cookies).
Some of these companies are based in the US. Where your information is processed outside the UK, it's protected by the UK's data adequacy arrangements or standard contractual clauses.
Cookies
The site only sets cookies if you say yes on the cookie banner. They're Google Analytics cookies (named _ga and _ga_ followed by a code), which last up to two years and tell me which pages are useful. Say no and none are set. Your choice is remembered in your browser so the banner doesn't keep asking. You can change your mind at any time using Cookie settings at the bottom of every page.
The calendar on the Book a call page comes from Cal.com, which may use its own cookies to make booking work.
How long I keep it
Enquiries and Growth Score results for up to two years from our last contact, unless we go on to work together, in which case for as long as the contract requires.
Your rights
You can ask for a copy of what I hold, ask me to correct or delete it, or object to how I use it. Email jamie@beyondthebeard.co.uk and I'll deal with it within a month. You can also complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.
